As humans, we can be very impatient. We are so use to having things instantly. Hungry? Throw some food in the microwave. Bored? Get on social media or turn on the TV. Need to tell someone something? Send them a text. We are use to getting everything in an instant, so when we pray for things and they don't get answered immediately, we take it as a "no" and get upset.
However, sometimes it's not a "no," it's a "not yet." Here recently I had gotten a few answers from God, and at first glance, they seemed like he said "no." What he actually said was "wait on my timing." I thought everything would've been answered when I thought they should've been answered, but sometimes God needs to show you a few things before he gives you a "yes." I'm still waiting on some of the answers, but he's slowly putting everything in place.
"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the Heavens. ... A time to weep and a time to laugh, ... a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, ... a time to be silent and a time to speak, ... He has made everything beautiful in its time" Ecclesiastes 3:1,4,5,7,11.
Don't try to rush God's timing. "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord" Psalm 27:14. Trust him because he has already seen your future, and he has control. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" Romans 8:28.
You don't have to have all the answers. I'm a planer. I thought I had my whole life figured out, and in a few months, everything I thought my future would be changed. Sometimes you just have to trust God and take it one day at a time. "He said to them: "'It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority"' Acts 1:7.
"But you will not leave in haste or go in flight; for the Lord will go before you, the God of Israel will be your rear guard" Isaiah 52:12. God has already got your life figured out. You don't have to have all the answers. Let him take the lead. Take it one day at a time. Trust him with every aspect of your life. Pray in every situation, and He will put your life together the way it was meant to be. "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" Matthew 6:33.
