Who am I?

Who am I? Who was I? Who am I currently? Who will I become? The world would say to you that you get to choose, and you could, but really it isn't up to us. If you really want to be who you were made to be, you won't discover it on your own. Only God knows who you're meant to become.

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb" Psalm 139:13. "Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be" Psalm 139:16.

God created everything. He created everything about you at the beginning of time. It's hard to wrap our minds around as humans, but when time was created God had already planned you out. He knew what you would look like. He knew the choices you would make, good and bad. He knew what talents and weaknesses you would posses. He knew who you could become through him, who he planned for you to be.

The crazy thing about God's plan to me is that he created me for greatness and has this incredible plan made out for me, and yet he knows all my shortcomings. He knows all the ones in my past, but he also knows every single one I'm going to make in the future, and yet he still chose me. He still chooses you. "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God has prepared in advance for us to do" Ephesians 2:10. God doesn't call you when you're qualified; God makes you qualified when you're called. God called you before you were even born. He already knows your reasons why "I can't" or "I shouldn't," and he wants you anyway. "The Lord doesn't look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart" 1 Samuel 16:7

You will find yourself when you lose yourself in Him. The closer you are to God, the closer you are to who you were created to be.
